South Central Development Company
South Central Development Company (SCDC) Loan program is funded by the
United States Department of Agriculture-Rural Development (RD) and the Meat & Poultry Intermediary Lending Program (MPILP).
Loans are available for new and existing small businesses in the Ohio counties of Adams, Brown, and Highland
Eligible Loan Purposes
- Acquisition
- Construction
- Renovation
- Purchase or Refinance Equipment
- Working Capital
Loan Amounts & Guarantees
Minimum Loan: $15K-Rural Dev.-$15K*
Maximum Loan: $150K-MPILP-$1.5mil*
*if funds are available
Personal guarantee and/or acceptable collateral
will be required on all loan projects

SCDC will take an appropriate lien position based on the use
& participation of loan funds

Loan rates are competitive with other financial institutions

SCDC requires a minimum of one job creation/retention for each $35,000 in loan funds
Example: A $70,000 loan must support two jobs.
